SweeTARTS Soft & Chewy Ropes

I recently received two packs of SweeTARTS Soft & Chewy Ropes, a pack to share and a little pack all for my lonesome! OH MAN are they delicious! It was hard not to immediately open the larger pack after finishing off my pack!

I expected them to have a taste similar to Twizzlers, but I was wrong! They're a little sweet and a little sour at the same time, just like you'd expect from a SweeTART product, but they've got a different texture as well. They're still chewy, but...better! I haven't seen these Ropes in stores yet, but hopefully I'll find them soon, because I definitely want to grab some more!

Venus Snap

I recently received a Venus Snap with Embrace razor through Influenster! Let me tell you, this is by far the most convenient travel item I've ever owned. It's a miniature Venus razor (which can be attached to any Venus razor head!) and it comes inside it's own mini case. The case has tiny air holes, so if you put your mini razor away while it's wet, it'll dry on it's own and won't get all gross! I've used

Atlantic City!!!!

I recently got invite to a "sampling" of Atlantic City through Crowdtap! I received a one-night stay in the Tropicana Hotel and Casino and some swag through them! Of course I brought my best friend along, and we had a blast!!

We ended up getting stuck in traffic for HOURS on our way to Atlantic City (normally about a 4 hour trip took us a little more than 6...) So we missed all of the Crowdtap sponsored events, but we did a little exploring of our on on Monday night! We watched the Sound and Light show on the Boardwalk and bought a few late night snacks as we walked on the beach!!

The coolest decorative feature of the Tropicana Hotel and Casino is most definitely the ceiling!! It really makes it feel like you're outside!

We ordered breakfast in bed Tuesday morning with our free Tropicana gift card!!

We continued our exploration of the boardwalk and took each other's pictures on the stairs to the Taj Mahal Hotel!!

Then we found some amazing sand sculptures near the Steel Pier amusement park!!

After our 3 mile hike to the Atlantic City Aquarium, we walked back to our hotel on the beach in the best beach-day weather we could have hoped for!

All in all we had an AMAZING time, and are already looking ahead to see when we can go back for a longer stay!!

Dasani Drops VoxBox

I recently received a Dasani Drops VoxBox through Influenster! It had a bottle of water, two different bottles of Dasani Drops flavors to add to the water, and coupons to try out the other flavors! The flavors I got are Cherry Pomegranate and Pink Lemonade. My favorite of the two flavors is definitely Pink Lemonade! It's the perfect summertime flavor and it's delicious!

In my opinion, the best thing about Dasani Drops is that it lets you flavorfy your water however you want! You can add as much or as little flavor as you want, and the flavors can be combined to make new tastes!!

SweetHeart VoxBox

I recently received the SweetHeart VoxBox through Influenster for Valentine's Day! I was SUPER excited to try out some of these products! In my box this month were four products: a Skinnygirl Coco-nut bar, Secret Clinical Strength deodorant, Olay Fresh Effect Va-Va-Vivid cleanser, and Not Your Mother's Sea Salt Spray.

The first product I tried out was the (as always) the food! This time is was a Skinnygirl On-the-Go Bar, CocoNut flavor! It was a mix of coconut and peanut butter, and it was pretty good! I haven't heard of this brand before, but I'll definitely keep an eye out next time I'm food shopping, the bars are gluten-free and really good for you - only 180 calories per bar!

The next product I tried out was Secret's Clinical Strength Stress Response deodorant. I'm moving in less than a week, so my life has been filled with stressful situations lately! Luckily I've been wearing this deodorant since I received it, and you'd never know I was stressed - at least you'd never know I should be sweating over it!

I also received a sample-sized bottle of Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray hairspray! (Quite a long name!) Anyways, this spray smells WONDERFUL and makes me crave summer even more - especially after just having 20 inches of snow dropped on us! It smells like a mix of ocean salt and coconuts - as you'd expect a beach to smell! And makes your hair have that just-been-to-the-beach look. It's made with real sea salt so the smell is authentic! And the spray works pretty well - it held my style for almost the entire day!

The last product in my VoxBox is definitely one of the best, in my opinion. It's Olay's Fresh Effects Va-Va-Vivid powered cleanser! Basically it's just an Olay cleanser, but you squeeze a little onto a battery-powered scrubber that gets deep into your pores! I can't tell if it's the Olay cleanser that's doing such a good job on my face or the little applicator, but either way, I'm loving how my skin has been looking lately!

L'Oreal Magic BB Cream

I recently tried out L'Oreal's new Magic BB Cream! I used to fair tone because I'm pretty pale. The BB Cream blends to your skin tone and evens out and covers up pretty much everything - it's the perfect primer! I uploaded some pictures so you can see how easily it blends to my skin tone.

You don't need much for your face! I normally use a tad more than this. As you can see, the cream is a lot paler than my skin! But once you start to rub it in it blends almost instantly!

 

Of course, there's not much that needs to be covered up on the back of my hand - but you can see how well the BB cream blends! It's definitely a product I'll continue to use even after I run out of this bottle!!

MorningStar Recipe

 

Just tried MorningStar Farms original burgers with my roommate - I'm impressed! I've never tried a veggie burger before, but I expected them to taste, well....fake! These were actually really tasty, and as long as they're not too expensive, I'd love to continue buying them in the future. 

A typical box of MorningStar Farms burgers has four burgers in it, and my roommate and I ate two of the four tonight. This weekend we're going to try something new and use these as meat for a meat sauce for pasta! We're having a stay-in day on Saturday (12-18 inches of snow expected!) so we're pretty excited to try a new pasta recipe!
