Continuous Journey Duvet Cover

I was recently able to review this full/queen duvet cover set! This set comes with a full/queen duvet cover with buttons on the bottom to close, and two pillowcases.

My first impression is that this is very high quality! The fabric is soft to the touch, but thick as well! The design on the fabric is raised, so I had a few concerns about the pillowcases.

 

After finagling with the cover itself, I finally got my comforter inside! The buttons on the underside are very easy to use, and it has a big opening for inserting your comforter! It's a bit large for a full-size comforter, but still fits pretty nicely. The fabric is suuuper soft! Definitely in for a cozy night sleep under this! 

The pillowcases are also very nice, but because of the raised pattern, they were not as comfortable to sleep on. I ended up not using them after the first night, as I couldn't get comfortable on them. I think these are more decorative to match the cover, rather than practical. 

My cat slept on top for at least 3 hours after putting it on my bed - so it definitely has her seal of approval as well as mine!

Maybelline Colossal Big Shot VoxBox

 

I received the Maybelline Colossal Big Shot VoxBox for free from Influenster to review, and love it! It includes two Maybelline beauty products - the Colossal Big Shot Mascara and the Master Precise Curvy Liquid Liner.

Let me start off by saying I love the packaging of the mascara! The gold of the bottle is very eye-catching and unique. I also love the size and shape of the brush - it's not too bulky, and it's very easy to apply. The downside I found is that it gets very clumpy with more than one coat. I typically put two coats of mascara on, as I have relatively pale eyelashes. Two coats with this mascara makes my eyelashes too heavy, and they don't curl like the normally do. One coat still works, and it still looks great, but I can't make my lashes darker or more voluminous with just one coat.

The liquid liner is very neat! I haven't ever used liquid liner before, so this was new for me. Liquid liner is super easy to use! Unlike a pencil, you don't have to really press down for the color to show, or make sure you're using a favored side. The liner comes on evenly and smoothly, though it's quite easy to mess up! My hands can get shaky, and with a pencil it's easy to keep a straight line, but with the liquid I had a much harder time! I don't think it would be something I would typically buy, but if I saw it on sale for a great deal I would pick it up.

J2CC Reversible Cable Revew!

 

I recently received this amazing J2CC reversible cable to review - and I am SO impressed!

 

Not only does this cable have a lightning charger for an iPhone, but it also has a micro-USB charger for an Android device as well! Rather than having adapter or splitters, this cable simply has a two-in-one charging head. Plug it in one way, it's a lightning charger, but plug it in the other way and it's a micro-USB charger!

This charger is also metal, so it's bendable, but doesn't leave my cats with any temptation to chew on it! It does not come with a wall adapter, but you can use it with any existing wall adapter, plug it into a computer, or a car charging device.

My only issue is that I have to pay attention when I'm plugging in a device, instead of just distractedly plugging it in. Other than that, I have had no issues with this cord! My iPhone 6S chargers very fast, as does my mom's Galaxy Grand Prime phone!

Ergd Bluetooth Headset

I recently got this teeny, tiny Ergd Mini Bluetooth Headset for free to review, and I really like it! It's so small, it's barely bigger than my thumbnail! There is just one tiny button on the headset itself, which controls the power on/off, and bluetooth connection. The headset also has a small port on the bottom to charge when the battery gets low.

The headset comes packaged in a box within a box for added protection during shipment. The pack includes the headset, three different-sized ear pieces, a USB charge cable, and the instruction manual!

Set-up is SO simple. Simply turn on the headset, go into the bluetooth connections on your phone, connect, and VOILA! All sounds, calls, etc direct to your headset until you shut it off. The quality is better than expected for a headset so tiny, but it's not perfect. Calls are clear and easy to understand, as are the verbal instructions from the headset, but Youtube videos and music seem like lower quality than what you get from just your phones speakers.

All in all, this is a fantastic bluetooth headset if you're looking for something super compact, and that you'd mainly use for calls. I wouldn't recommend using it like a pair of headphones, as the sound quality isn't the best for videos or music.

Laser Christmas Lights

 

I received this amazing Christmas light projector to review, and it's amazing! It has multiple color options, and looks like colorful spinning stars!

The set comes with everything you need to use it - the laser, detachable wall plug, L wrench, spoke, remote, two AAA batteries, and the instruction manual!

  

This laser can project in three different ways - blue, green, or a combination of both! The remote control allows you to choose which color you want, along with the speed, timer, and whether it should flash! This laser is a perfect way to decorate the outside of your house for the holidays! It projects the best on a flat surface, such as a wall, garage, or shed! The colors are beautiful and the design is stunning!

Formula X VoxBox

 

I recently got into the Formula X VoxBox through Influenster, and I'm in love! I'm a huge fan of at-home manicures, and this one is amazing!!

 

 

The first thing I tried out was the Delete All nail polish remover. I am SO impressed by this! I stupidly didn't take a before picture, but my nails were BRIGHT red. Like the red that you need a new cotton ball just to take the polish off of your skin after removing it because it's so crazy. I stuck all five fingers in at once, and voila! No more polish! It's incredible!

 

Next was the Formula X - The System. This is a set of three polishes - a cleanse all for before you polish, a base coat, and a top coat. They come together in this adorable magnetic case that tells you what each polish does. They're in matching bottles too!

 

Finally we have the polish itself! This is Formula X in TGIF. It's such a pretty color, ideal for the hot summer months. It's a perfect blend of pink with just a tad of peach mixed in! I cannot explain to you just how fast this polish dried - within 10 minutes I was applying my top coat!

With this set, you have a gel-like manicure that lasts chip-free for at LEAST a week! I went 9 days before I spotted my first chipped nail - and that's only because I shut my finger in the screen door! I'm so impressed by this set! Definitely a high-recommend product if you want a great at-home manicure that lasts!

ZocuZap Update - Two Months

I have been using my Zocular Zocuzap for almost two months now, and am very impressed with the results! I see very little breakouts on my face now, and notice less scaring as well! This is the easiest acne treatment to use, and the results are very noticeable!
